What is fascia?

Fascia is the layer of connective tissue below the skin that covers organs, muscles and bones and makes up some tendons, ligaments and other structures. Knots in the fascia create tension in the body, pulling on muscles and skeletal structures. Myofascial Release (MFR) focuses on relieving this tension!
